Ouch...finding out he was wrong about that sounds like a horribly unpleasant shock. I hope he's since been able to fix the unfortunate side-effects of estrogen puberty and is doing okay now?
We probably didn't meet at a con: I rarely go to them, and haven't been to one in Maryland or the DC area before. I will be at Chessiecon next weekend, though, so if you're going to be there, let me know and perhaps we can meet in person.
(I really need to print out and look through the program so I can figure out the schedule of what I'm going to try to go to. It's just...things have been so busy lately that I haven't even though about it. And at the moment, I need to panic about making Thanksgiving dinner happen.)
I'm glad my posts on Hellenism have been interesting! I really need to post here more in general: it's something I want to do but then never quite have the energy for.
And cool! I feel like I've met someone else who also when to St. John's, but I can't think who or how I met them. I seem to have a tendency to collect interesting people, but it means I know so many I can't remember what details go with which ones a lot of the time.
