Hah...don't feel bad about cluttering up my comments. People very rarely comment on my posts, especially not more than a sentence at a time, so it's kind of exciting to see a conversation happening here, even if I don't have anything to add to it.

Also, regarding your mention of engaging in European Jewish community a lot, it is notable that nearly all the people I know who have an ethnic community they actually feel involved in are Jewish.
